JACKET CASHMERE

This double-breasted six-button beige jacket comes in soft natural stretch cashmere baize and has been entirely hand-cut and sewn by our master craftsmen in Naples. Natural stretch fabrics are achieved by using special finishes that make the fabric elastic. A vinyl coating is added that bonds to the woven thread and then dissolves and is absorbed during the washing or piece-dyeing stage, which guarantees the natural tension and renders the fabric soft and stretchy. This jacket with golden buttons inspired by the British Navy is fully lined in pure silk satin and features in-seam pockets that are invisible. This distinctive structure gives the garment a polished, straight-cut aesthetic that enhances the exceptional softness and lustre of the fabric and the buttons. The traditional sartorial construction of double-breasted jackets notwithstanding, this garment features classic straight lapels and the slight curving of the single-breasted jacket, otherwise known as 'notched lapels' as they are defined by a cut in the fabric that is similar to a step or a notch.
